Back Rural innovators' meet

The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) is organising a Rural Innovators Meet (RIM- 2009) at the VJT Hall here from November 23 to 25. An official spokesman quoted Dr E. P. Yesodharan, Executive Vice-President, KSCSTE, as saying here that the meet would offer a platform to address the issues and challenges faced by grassrootslevel innovators. Exhibitions, seminars, technology demonstration and discussions would be held in connection with the event. There would be avenues for innovators to establish contact with line departments and research institutions in various sectors. Innovators could also explore the possibility of technology transfer with the industrial sector. - Our Bureau
