Back Birla Cotsyn net at Rs 1.54 cr

Birla Cotsyn, part of the Rs 3,000-crore Yash Birla Group, reported that its net profit rose six times to Rs 1.54 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2009, against Rs 22 lakh logged in the same period last year. Revenues more than doubled to Rs 71 crore. Birla Cotsyn produces high quality synthetic, blended ring spun yarns and 100 per cent cotton yarn for usage in woven and knitted fabrics, textiles, blankets, towels, upholstery, furnishings, curtains, bedsheets, made-up and industrial fabrics. - Our Bureau
