Back MAN Ind secures Rs 1,100-cr orders

Mumbai, Sept. 25

MAN Industries (India) Ltd said it has secured orders worth Rs 1,100 crore in the current quarter. The company has received domestic orders from GAIL Ltd for over Rs 325 crore, besides orders from West Asian countries. MAN Industries has commissioned its third HSAW (line pipes) production line at Anjar, Gujarat.It has acquired 155 acres in Little Rock, Arkansas, US, for setting up a pipe manufacturing unit of 3 lakh tonnes at a cost of $100 million. The coating mill will c ommence operations in March 2009 and the pipe mill in June. —
