Our Bureau Hyderabad, Aug. 4 Airtel today announced that it expanded its mobile services to over 300 locations across Andhra Pradesh in three months, including to areas with a population of less than 5,000. With a base of 6.76 million customers in the AP circle (according to COAI June 2008 figures), and new network expansion, Airtel covers 82 per cent of the urban and rural population. The coverage is backed by 82,600 Airtel retail outlets to service customers.
