Back Rlys’ demand for security devices may rise Our Bureau New Delhi, April 25 Demand for various types of security devices could go up with Indian Railways increasing its focus maintaining security on stations. Railways has invited expressions of interest from companies to develop “integrated security system” at over 100 railway stations. “EoI has been invited on outright purchase basis or through public private partnership (PPP) basis to develop ‘integrated security system’ in over 100 railway stations of Indian Railways, Mr R Velu stated in the Lok Sabha while replying to a question on steps being taken to strengthen security in railway stations.
