Back Jayankondam: Steps for speedy disposal of cases Our Bureau Perambalur, March 30 The Madras High Court has taken all steps for speedy disposal of cases of dispute over compensation land acquired for the execution of Jayankondam Lignite Power Project (JLPP), the Judge of the Madras High Court Mr V. Dhanapalan, has said. Speaking to presspersons here on Sunday, Mr Justice Dhanapalan said a total of 7,077 cases needed to be cleared. The Madras High court had already started two special courts at Jayankondam. This apart, a Lok Adalat would also be set up at Jayankondam for ensuring expeditious settlement of cases through a conciliatory strategy.
