Back Muthuraman on IITK board

Kolkata, March 28 Mr B. Muthuraman, Managing Director of Tata Steel, has been nominated as the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur by the President of India, Ms Pratibha Patil.

He will hold the post for a period of three years. Accepting the responsibility, Mr Muthuraman said that he has accepted the nomination with “a great deal of pride and would try my best towards contributing to the affairs of IIT, Kharagpur”, a press release issued here has stated.
