Back Nuclear power

The article “Will nuclear power really help” (Business Line, March 26) exposes the nuclear lobby, in particular, and the power lobby, in general. Extrapolating our past history of nuclear power to the foreseeable future, it appears that it will contribute very little to the total need. It is time planners begin to think of minimising energy use instead of planning to have large installed capacity, particularly of nuclear power.
