Back Deora calls for more bilateral ties with Romania
Mr Murli Deora Our Bureau New Delhi, March 4 The Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr Murli Deora, has called for enhanced bilateral co-operation between India and Romania in the oil and gas sector. Addressing the inaugural session of Indo-Romanian joint working group on oil and natural gas here, he has said that a research project is on the anvil which will facilitate combined work for geological studies of the Himalayan belt. This, he said, will open a new vista for co-operation in the Indian sub-continent. Mr Deora emphasised the need for identifying new opportunities, tapping and utilising potential for mutual benefit in the sector. He suggested that companies of two countries should collaborate in exploration not only in India, but also in third countries. He offered to share Indian expertise and experience in revamping and modernising refineries.
