Back Job fairs to be held in Hanamkonda, Hyderabad IEG will organise the fairs on March 3 in Hanamkonda and on March 8 in Hyderabad Our Bureau Hyderabad, March 2 Top multinationals and national corporate giants such as Microsoft, Dell, Infosys, ICICI, HDFC and Genpact will take part in two job fairs to be organised by the Institute for Electronic Governance (IEG) this month. IEG, which was established by the State Government in 2004 to bridge the gap between academic competencies and industry expectations, will organise the fairs on March 3 in Chaitanya Degree College, Hanamkonda, and on March 8 at Nizam College in Hyderabad. Focus on rural areas“This well help candidates from the rural areas to get placements in top companies,” said Dr P. Madhav, Director (Promotions) of Jawahar Knowledge Centres (JKC). JKCs are part of the IEG initiative in over 383 engineering colleges and 256 degree colleges across the State. “Since the inception of JKCs, over 1.30 lakh students obtained jobs in the IT sector.
