Back Quality control in Karnataka nursing schools Our Bureau Kochi, Jan. 13 Karnataka State Association for the Management of Nursing and Allied Health Services Institutes (KSAMNAHSI) has formed an organisation to ensure the best quality nursing education for its students. KSAMNAHSI will ensure quality control measures and it assures that all the institutions registered under it are best in the infrastructure and credentials, Prof Dayananad Kumar, President of the Karnataka State Association for the Management of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Institutes, said. Nursing colleges in Karnataka, with 65 to 70 per cent of students from Kerala, will now provide one seat each free to candidates from that State due to a drop in the inflow of students. The association is keen on maintaining a transparent relationship between institutions and parents. A helpline would be formed to look after the problems of parents, he said. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu Business Line |
