Back Don’t ever have a finish line

Anil Jain

Anil Jain is the Managing Director of Refex Refrigerants Ltd. A commerce graduate from Loyola College, Chennai, he was exposed to business at a young age, and took active interest in the steel business which his family was engaged in. Here’s his take on four questions from Business Line:

Two things I learnt from my work/real life:

I rejoice in challenges, looking through them inspires and any stride taken against challenges is a symbol of human endeavour.

Dreaming big is the fountainhead to success…that’s what makes sleep such a nice thing to do.

Two things that my education/training taught:

Don’t ever have a finish line.

Always look north — opportunities are your most consistent friends.

One quality I look for the most in a new recruit:

I strongly believe all my employees (not only the new recruits) should feel at home at my workplace. Only this can ensure better human resource management.

A book that I read recently:

The 7 Habits of High Effective People, by Stephen R. Covey.
