Back PwC India bags award

New Delhi, Nov. 27

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a professional services firm, has been named ‘India Tax Firm of the Year’ by the International Tax Review (ITR). The award was presented to Mr Dinesh Kanabar, Tax leader, and Mr Shyamal Mukherjee, Deputy Tax leader of PwC India, at the ITR Asia Tax Awards ceremony in Hong Kong on November 26. With over 4,500 employees in India, PwC is the largest professional services firm in the country. Its tax practice alone has 44 partners and over 900 employees. “We are delighted to receive this award. It is a reflection of the successful merger of RSM with PwC and of the team having leveraged the synergies to grow and excel in the fast growing Indian market place,” Mr Dinesh Kanabar said on the occasion.
