New Delhi, Nov. 14 Retaining its focus on being a speciality healthcare provider, Wockhardt Hospitals is planning to further roll out its chain of Intensive Coronary Care Units (ICCU).

With two in Bangalore, one in Mumbai, and another one coming up in Mumbai, Mr Vishal Bali, CEO, Wockhardt Hospitals said the model which reserves 30 per cent of its 40 -50 beds for intensive care patients, given the shortage of intensive-care beds, was well received.

The hospital chain plans to continue its expansion in metros and tier-II cities.

Wockhardt also plans a hospital in West Delhi which is likely to be operational by 2009. It will be the company’s first hospital in the Capital.
