Pune, Oct. 26 Cummins India Ltd has reported net second quarter sales of Rs 528.2 crore, an increase of 13 per cent over Rs 467.4 crore sales for the same period last year. Net profit before tax rose by 3 per cent to Rs 91 crore against Rs 88.6 crore, in the comparable quarters.

Mr Anant Talaulicar, Chairman and Managing Director, Cummins India Ltd, said, “The company’s modest growth this quarter was despite the significant negative impacts on export realisations due to the appreciation of the rupee against the US dollar. It was also impacted by implementation of the latest version of the Oracle ERP system, which is now complete.
