Back SMS alerts on auto theft

Imagine getting an SMS alerting you just as the thief tries to race away with your car! Mumbai-based Micro Technologies has come up with a product, Micro VBB, for just that. It is an anti-theft security system that helps the user to detect any unauthorised access to his vehicle. In case of a theft, the user has to send commands in a prescribed format via SMS to a particular number. Once the SMS reaches the system, it immobilises the car engine and locks the doors. Another product, Micro house security system (HSS), can be used to detect unauthorised entry into one’s premises. It has also launched a mobile tracking system that enables users to locate their lost phones. It also helps users to detect the new phone number if another SIM card has been inserted in the phone.
