Back House of Pearl Q1 net up 19%

Apparel export firm House of Pearl Fashions Ltd has reported a 19 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 14.73 crore during the first quarter of the current fiscal, up from Rs 12.35 crore during the corresponding period in 2006-07.

Consolidated total revenues were up 33 per cent at Rs 280 crore for the quarter, the company said in a release. The company's operating margin and net margin for the Q1 stood at 9.4 per cent (11.5 per cent) and 5.2 per cent (5.9 per cent), it said.
