Back Fullerton launches CSR initiative
Our Correspondent Madurai, July 17 Fullerton India, a non-banking finance company and fully owned subsidiary of Fullerton Financial Holdings, Singapore has launched an environmental health programme called Project Thooimai. The programme, a corporate social responsibility initiative (CSR), is aimed at promoting individual hygienic practices that impact public health. It is designed to bring together businesses, community groups, schools, Government and individuals in a range of activities that positively improve local environment. The company also undertakes programmes aimed at creating awareness on livelihood for the downtrodden sections of society. Each of its 200 branches spread across 60 locations in the country sets apart a stipulated sum every month and involves employees in carrying out the operations, company sources said.
