Back CMC pact with New Zealand varsity

Chennai June 22 CMC Ltd, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services, has signed an agreement with the Massey University Graduate School of Business, New Zealand, to impart the university's management curriculum in India, according to the company's Vice-President, Mr Saibal Ghosh.

Management courses

Both would work on imparting management courses in areas such as banking and credit risks, and with special emphasis on soft skills. The courses would be offered in the next couple of months, he told Business Line on the sidelines of a press conference.

Mr Ghosh said university's courses would be customised for Indian students. The Massey GSB and CMC partnership will involve a number of training and educational offerings in both India and New Zealand. Some of the students from India would travel to New Zealand for a familiarisation/project with a bank or a financial institution, he said.

With revenue of over Rs 1,000 crore, CMC is one of the premier information technology solutions providers in India.
