Epicor's renewed focus on India

US-based Epicor announced a renewed focus on India, by bringing in all its products to this market via channel partner Sonata Software. It also plans to set up a direct sales office in the next 12 months. In the interim, channel operations will be managed from its Dubai office, said Mr Stefan Westelius, Senior Director, Epicor, EMEA. Epicor offers enterprise resource and planning (ERP), customer relationship management, , supply chain management and professional services automation software. It competes with the likes of SAP, Oracle, Infor and Microsoft. The ERP software market is expected to be worth $250 million in 2009 and $341 million by 2011. The company had a turnover of $101.3 million in first quarter, 2007.
