IBM on Wednesday announced new storage devices for small and medium businesses. The System Storage DS3000 Series are entry-level disk arrays featuring integrated management software. A key feature of the new DS3000 is the intuitive Storage Manager software, which comes as a standard feature on all configurations, and allows customers to set up and manage their data resources in six easy steps. The simple configuration, administration and management of the DS3000 is an important feature for SMBs, or remote offices of a large distributed enterprise.
