Back Second MBA abroad?

With an MBA from an IIM, I am working in an insurance company for the past two years. I want to settle abroad. Is pursuing a MBA abroad advisable towards this? Would a double MBA help in my career?

In my view there is no need for you to do a second MBA abroad. You can definitely leverage on your IIM background and your post qualification work experience in the insurance industry. Reputed foreign Universities offering MBA programmes generally prefer those with about three years work experience.

As you may be aware, MBA programmes abroad are quite expensive and the payback period is about four years. With focused attention and sincere efforts, you can settle abroad with a decent job.
