Back Oxford B-school scholarships

Chennai April 5 Oxford University's Saïd Business School is offering two scholarship places exclusively to readers of the management magazine, The Smart Manager, on its Oxford Advanced Management Programme in June 2007 and in October 2007. Taught over four weeks, the programme equips managers with the insights, knowledge, tools and frameworks required to achieve success at the highest levels of management, a press release said.

Integrated fully into Oxford University, Saïd Business School draws on Oxford's strengths across a range of subjects, including sociology, economics, law, psychology, politics and international relations. Applicants must be nominated by their organisation following which they will be reviewed by the publication and Saïd Business School. The closing date for scholarship applications is April 30. Details of the application procedure will be available in the April issue of The Smart Manager and online at www.thesmartmanager.com.

A bi-monthly, The Smart Manager was launched in February 2002 by Prof Nitin Nohria (Harvard Business School), the late Euroguru Prof Sumantra Ghoshal, Mr Maneck Davar (Spenta Multimedia) and Dr Gita Piramal, business historian and author. Established in 1996, Oxford University's Saïd Business School is Europe's fastest growing business school, the press release added.
