Back Old hands win new placements

Our Bureau

Ahmedabad, March 30

After an average nine years in service, they resigned from their respective jobs, joined a one-year course at the IIM-A and found their careers zooming up when global firms lapped them up during placements. They included foreigners, many of whom have chosen Indian jobs; and they included Indians who refused to take up global jobs.

Announcing the placement of the first batch of the one-year, full-time residential Post Graduate Programme for Executives, the IIM-A Director, Dr Bakul Dholakia, said all these 60 participants were upwards of 27 years in age and none of them had been sponsored by their erstwhile employers for this unique, one-of-its-kind course comparable only to the one offered by International Business School, Switzerland. Now, the IIM-C is also introducing a similar programme.
