BHEL, ONGC in talks for rig order

BHEL and ONGC today held parleys for a Rs 680-crore oil rig order, according to a statement from BHEL. BHEL already has an order worth Rs 300 crore from ONGC. A meeting was held between Mr U.N. Bose, Director, ONGC, Mr M.D. Joshi, Executive Director, and Mr A. Mathur, Director, BHEL and Mr G.V. Rami Reddy, Group General Manager, BHEL Ramanthapuram. As part of a refurbishment exercise, ONGC and BHEL have successfully refurbished two mud pumps for the first time sourcing spare parts, the BHEL statement said. - Our Bureau
