UNCERTAINTY IN MARKET: Pepper harvesting in progress at a farm near Kochi, Kerala. Pepper prices have turned volatile on uncertainty over delivery by sellers. However, good demand in the domestic market is preventing any sharp fall in the prices of pepper. Currently, pepper for March delivery is quoted at Rs 12,381 a quintal, while spot price for MG1 is quoted at Rs 12,100.
