Back Visvesvaraya Award 2006

The Madurai District Tiny And Small Scale Industries Association (Maditssia) has called for applications from small and tiny industries that have commenced production before April 2003 for the industrial award `Visvesvaraya Award 2006', for the best small-scale unit. Jointly instituted by Maditssia and the All-India Manufacturers' Organisation, the award carries a prize amount worth Rs 10,000. Any industrial unit functioning in the districts of Madurai, Dindigul, Virudhunagar, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Theni is eligible for the award.

The second and third prizes sponsored by the State Bank of India, carry awards worth Rs 5,000 each.
