Mr Babu Abraham Kallivayalil has been re-elected to the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the year 2007-10. Mr Kallivayalil is at present Secretary of the Regional Council, which completes its term on February 15. Mr V.C. James, a chartered accountant from Ernakulam, has been elected to the Central Council, New Delhi, of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. As many as 32 representatives have been elected to the Central Council from five regions. Mr James is the only representative from Kerala.
