Back Oil & gas campus for K-G basin

The State Animal Husbandry Minister, Mr Gollapalli Surya Rao, today declared open the oil and gas campus of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). The campus will come up in the Rajahmundry-Kakinada region. The Vice-Chancellor of the private university, Mr P. Diwan, said the southern regional campus would be established in East Godavari, to harness the potential of oil and gas find in the K-G basin. The university will offer 28 courses, including B. Tech, M. Tech, B.Sc, MBA, MS, BA and LLB.
