Back USFDA approval for Aurobindo drug

Aurobindo Pharma Limited (APL) has received yet another approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Amoxicillin Tablets for oral suspension in dosages of 200 mg and 400 mg.

Amoxicillin tablets for oral suspension is a beta-lactam antibiotic used in the treatment of respiratory infections. For APL, this is the 36th approval (both final and tentative) from the USFDA, according to a company press release. With the latest approval, APL has its Amoxicillin approved in four different formulations. It is geared to enter the lucrative US markets for the product.
