Back `Angad' tractor launched

SAS Motors Ltd has launched `Angad 240D', a low-cost 22-hp tractor, in Mangalore. Addressing presspersons at the launch of the tractor here on Wednesday, Mr A.S. Ketakar, General Manager (Commercial), said that it is a pioneering initiative by the company to make effective low-cost mechanisation accessible to farmers with smallholdings across the country.

Major banks such as State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Allahabad Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce and Bank of India have approved `Angad' tractor for retail financing, he added. Mr G. Vasanth Rao, Area Sales Manager, was present on the occasion.
