Back HP unveils set of printers

Hewlett-Packard has announced the launch of a set of printers targeting the home and small and medium business segments. Announcing the introduction of 12 new personal printing solutions and its marketing strategy to tap the huge potential in education field for children and the SMEs, Mr Vibhor Bansal, Country Category Manager (Personal Printing Products) told newspersons here that the demand for printers that combine the functions of printing, scanning and copying is expected to increase to 7.3 lakh by 2010 from the current 4.4 lakh. The price of new personal printing price range between Rs 2,999 and Rs 15,999, featuring high speed, quality and consumer friendly functions that encompasses personal computer-compatible to wireless devices to simplify the printing solutions, he said.
