TCS and IIT Kanpur have together designed the content of the new, two-year M. Tech course.

The software company will also establish a storage-computing laboratory at IIT Kanpur. "We have identified storage computing as a technology area that will become part of the mainstream over the next few years. Demand for cost-efficient storage services are going to be a key trend in the future," added Mr Ramadorai.
