A book on Water conflicts in India - A million revolts in the making was released here under the aegis of Forum For Policy Dialogue on Water Conflicts in India. The book is a compilation of 63 case studies of conflicts over water in India. The forum is an umbrella organisation of like-minded bodies that tries to involve and settle water conflicts through intensive studies. Among others, the book deals with case studies on water pollution, inter-State water disputes, conflicting demands and uses of water among different stakeholders in the Indian sub-continent.
