Back `Opposition provoking farmers'

The Andhra Pradesh Government has accused the Opposition of provoking the farmers to attack power substations, hold dharnas and to organise rallies, protesting against the erratic power supply.

Terming it `unfortunate,' Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Chief Minister, said it was not proper on part of the Opposition parties to politicise the issue and incite the farmers.

The Chief Minister, who is camping at his native town Pulivendula to celebrate Christmas with family members, had reviewed the power supply position with officials.
