Back Greenpeace alert

Paul Noronha

TO SAVE POWER: Hundreds of Mumbaikars gathered at the Juhu Beach on Sunday to form an 8,000-sq. ft. human art design that spelled the slogan `Switch for Mumbai' on the sand. This is part of the global NGO Greenpeace's ongoing campaign for energy-efficiency practices that will reduce electricity consumption. The campaign asks households to switch over to compact fluorescent lamps.
