Back PM stresses on job creation Our Bureau
New Delhi , Nov. 26 There is a consensus across political parties on the need for a high rate of growth, said the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh. He was addressing a group of CEOs at his residence as part of the programme of the India Economic Summit 2006 being organised in the Capital. The Prime Minister reiterated that the interplay of dynamism between the world entrepreneurial community and domestic entrepreneurs would aid the growth process. A lot of work was needed for giving the `buzzword' of inclusive growth substance, stated Dr Singh. Unless jobs are created, opportunities arise, and backward regions are integrated, India's growth will fall by the wayside. He expressed confidence that India will make progress and achieve eight per cent growth in the future also.
