Pyro Networks, part of the Hyderabad-based Pyro Group, is developing a tool to prevent mobile piracy. Its Mobile Digital Rights Management tool would prevent a mobile user forward a ring tone or music to another person.

For example, if somebody downloads a ring tone from the Web, the person would get two messages — a ring tone and a key — on the mobile. This key does not permit the person to forward the message, said Mr T. Paritosh, COO of Pyro Networks Pvt Ltd. Pyro Networks would tie-up with various mobile operators to use the tool, he told newspersons.

Better services

Pryo Mobiles, also part of the Pyro Group, has tied up with the Chennai-based Altosys to provide value-added mobile services, including songs and movies.

The partnership begins with music director Mr Karthik Raaja doing remixed songs of Ilaiyaraaja, according to Mr G. Dijendranath, COO of Altosys.

These songs would be promoted by Altosys through Aircel, a Chennai-based mobile operator, and subscribers need to dial 6666 , Mr P.B. Shyam, CEO of Pyro Mobile said.
