Back Workshop on employment generation

In connection with the 50th anniversary of the formation of the State, the Kerala Management Association is organising a one-day workshop on `Development agenda for employment generation,' on November 9.

The Chief Minister, Mr V.S. Achuthanandan, will inaugurate the workshop. The Chairman and Managing Director of FACT, Dr G.C. Gopala Pillai, will deliver the keynote address.

The workshop will rewind on what happened in Kerala on the employment front in the last five decades.

POTENTIAL SECTORS

Sectors such as BPO, IT, garment industry, tourism, retail, potential of manufacturing industries where accelerated employment opportunities can be generated and the role of traditional and agro-industrial sectors will be examined in detail.

Participation is by invitations, the association said in a press release.
