Back VTU meet at Nitte

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, in association with NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte, will conduct `VTU Youth Festival' at Nitte in Udupi district from November 8-11.

A press release by NMAM Institute of Technology said here on Saturday that Mr B.S. Yediyurappa, deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, would inaugurate the festival on November 8. Mr D.H. Shankaramurthy, the Karnataka Minister for Higher Education, will release the souvenir on the occasion.

Competitions will be held in 27 events during the festival. Around 1,500 students are likely to participate in these events. Dr V.S. Acharya, Karnataka Medical Education Minister, will deliver the valedictory address on November 11, the release added.
