Back Goa film festival web site launched

Launching the official Web site of 37th International Film Festival of India Goa, 2006 (www.iffigoa.org) here on Friday at a curtain-raiser event, the Goa Minister for Art and Culture, Mr Digambar Vasant Kamat, said a major exercise has now begun with this festival to ensure participation of regional film societies in a big way. The Minister also launched the theme poster of iffi Goa 2006, depicting the ancient Indian concept of "Vasudeva Kutumbakam" (the whole world is one family). Mr Kamat said said it signified the spirit of `iffi', as being the confluence of best of cinema from India and across the world.
