Back Indian introduces Delhi-Tirupati flight Our Bureau
The launch of the flight is part of the airline's new winter schedule.

New Delhi , Oct. 29 Indian, which started a flight on the Delhi-Tirupati sector from Sunday, is offering an introductory one-way fare of Rs 2,875. In a statement, the airline has said that the introductory fare is available till November 7. The flight will operate through Hyderabad on the way from and to Delhi. The launch of the Tirupati flight is part of the airline's new winter schedule that comes into effect from today. The inaugural flight carried 143 passengers. As part of the schedule, the airline has also started a twice-a-week flight on the Bangalore-Bhubaneswar sector, while it has added another flight on the Delhi-Mumbai sector taking the number of daily flights between the two cities to 11. Indian is to now offer a four-times-a-day connection between Delhi and Kolkata. Besides, the frequency of flights on several domestic routes has also been increased. The airline will now operate three-times-a-week on the Kolkata-Bagdogra sector while offering a four-times-a-week connection on the Kolkata-Aizwal-Imphal-Kolkata sector. Besides, Indian is to start a five-times-a-week flight on the Bangalore-Male sector from November 5 this year. The airline is offering an introductory return fare of Rs 10,000 for the new flight that is to be operated on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, the airline is to operate a second daily flight between Delhi and Dubai from November. Besides, the frequency on the Kolkata-Kathmandu sector is being increased to four times a week.
