Back Leyland unveils Comet 1611

Ashok Leyland unveiled its Comet 1611 featuring a facility built cab in the Kerala market here on Thursday. The company has targeted Comet 1611 to meet the growing demand in rated payload segments such as parcel, courier, white goods and tankers, Mr Ramji Narayanaswamy, Regional Manager (South), Ashok Leyland, said. He said fuel efficiency is the standout feature of the vehicle and extensive performance trials have shown excellent fuel efficiency up to 10 per cent better than the existing models in this class of vehicles.
