Back Ministry invites comments on residue limits

The Health Ministry has invited comments on its proposal to define maximum residue limits for six pesticides in food.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health has issued a draft notification proposing to amend Rule 65 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Rules, 1955 relating to maximum residue or tolerance limits for certain pesticides in different articles of food, said an official release.
