Back SAARC chamber to voice concerns of S. Asian nations Our Bureau
New Delhi , Aug. 29 In the backdrop of the impasse over the Doha round, the SAARC Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will be leading a delegation from South Asia in September to meet the region's Ambassadors in Geneva. The annual WTO public forum organised by the SCCI is slated to voice the concerns of the developing countries of South Asia at an international forum. Speaking at the `South Asia Regional Conference on WTO and Doha Agenda: The Way Forward' organised by the FICCI and SCCI, the President of SCCI, Mr Dasho Ugen Tsechup Dorji, said SAARC would continue to play a vital role in highlighting the significance of trade and commercial links within the region as well as in the global economy.
